I found the description of addresses to be interesting. Using only outputs instead of inputs and outputs. An address can be sent to multiple times. When sending out bitcoin core oftens uses a new address in your wallet and transfers any remaining balance to that new address. Ie. any send transaction usually has two addresses being sent to. I will need to look a little closer at what happens under the covers.
