I am more anti bot due to the you have to play perfectly to win a battle, especially in the lower levels. I don't have a solution and am not sure if I agree in your opinion that Intelligent bots are ok. I would probably limit play to 50 max battles per day in any account. Reduce rating along with ranking tied into ECR. Lock cards for the season per account. Modern has gotten tough, so I am not sure if it is real players or bots I am playing against.
