Today I wanted to excerise your minds! Ask yourself, Im a citizen of....?! Be sure to say aloud your answer. Dont worry you're not crazy, this is apart of a process! By the end I hope to dispel misconceptions, demonstrating why theyre important.

Different types of citizens - in legal context

In our nation we have different types of citizens. And believe it or not, each different type has more or less rights when compared to each other.

A statuary citizen (sometimes called national) is a citizen of:

1. The United States (Federal Government)
2. District of Columbia
3. Guam
4. Virgin Islands
   In Some Instances
   1.a Puerto Rico
   1.b Virgin Islands

A statuary citizen/ national is defined in 26 USC § 7701:

(9) United States
The term “United States” when used in a geographical sense includes only the States and the District of Columbia.
(10) State
The term “State” shall be construed to include the District of Columbia, where such construction is necessary to carry out provisions of this title.

Here is the smoking gun:
39(a) reads

Persons residing outside United States If any citizen or resident of the United States does not reside in (and is not found in) any United States judicial district, such citizen or resident shall be treated as residing in the District of Columbia for purposes of any provision of this title relating to—
(A) jurisdiction of courts, or
(B) enforcement of summons.

So here you have it, if you're a US citizen you live in District of Columbia, in some laws you are called a "national." Still not convinced?

Let's look in another law, 26 USC § 7408

(d) Citizens and residents outside the United States
If any citizen or resident of the United States does not reside in, and does not have his principal place of business in, any United States judicial district, such citizen or resident shall be treated for purposes of this section as residing in the District of Columbia.

Here you have it, if youre living in DC, all the laws Congress passes apply to you. You have no constitutional rights (in form of protections), as you adhere to Congress' jurisdiction. Please read 8 U.S.C. §1401

A citizen of United States of (Union States) - sometimes called constitutional citizen.

This is anyone born outside of D.C, yet lives within the nation. All states (50) are called "union states". We can realize the definition in Amendment 14 section 1.

"No state shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any state deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws."

So, respectively you're a citizen of your state. A citizen of the United States. This is kinda difficult to wrap your head around, but think of it this way. All states grouped together, form a Federal Constitution yet every state maintains its "sovereignity" as it has its own State constitution.

I hope you're playing attention to the wording Congress chose when writing these cited laws. You're foreign (in eyes of Congress) because youre born outside of D.C. To us, constitutional citizens (those born in union states)... D.C is a foreign power.

What I'm trying to point out here is:

1. Jurisdiction - Congress only has power over federal lands. Otherwise they are limited to a 10 mile stretch. Which they fail miserably at managing.
2. Fraud - Every politician whether knowingly or not acts as if they can ink pen to paper and change scope of the land. Even judges and lawyers partake in this.
3. Treason - because Congress - Senate -lawyers- etc etc - all work to :kill the sovereign and/or overthrow the constitution. (Federal is both foreign and domestic, and poses the highest threat to our nation think about this).
   And for this matter, whenever one appears in court it's only prudent to challenge the jurisdiction of Congress' laws. As you live outside of D.C. You're a constitutional citizen - "private person." You're rights are not forfeited, by acts of Congress.

Lawyers will try to trick you and pretend that this applies to you, because chances are you've

1. identified as a US citizen
2. Filed 1099 or W-4
3. On complaint form, checked US citizen

Lawyers will sell you downstream to judges.

I cite fraud here, because elected officials are deceiving constituents, lawyers are deceiving customers, because they all have a vested interest. Money and power. Judges simply apply what individual states.

Now ask yourself i am a citizen of....?! Is it still the same answer?
