Hopefully yes. PoW was invented at first because they couldn’t think of something better and no one would have believed cryptos would get where we are now.

PoW is completely unnecessary. I believe that when ETH 2.0 is fully launched other blockchains will follow the example.

The transition is not going to be easy but it is for the better.

The difficulty is arbitrary and unnecessary and just wastes energy.
