This was probably the most exciting announcement at last week's GITEX exhibition. The police bike will hover at a height of 5-6 meters over the ground, be able to carry up to 100KG and has an autonomy of 25min. Adopting this type of innovation really shows how quickly Dubai wants to leapfrog into the future.
The innovation also shows how drone technology can be used in real life use-cases. I have seen a few in the past where drones are used to help firefighters better assess dangers, but this takes it to a new level.
If you have seen the traffic jams in Dubai caused by accidents, this type of vehicle could help save precious lives. I can already imagine paramedics flying in as quickly as the possible to rescue injured passengers.
