Recently, there is a new feature from wordpress.com that is named custom contact form. This post can be spelled out from the post about the previous contact form.

If the old-form contact form is created by typing in the [contact-form] code (uncheck any spaces in the code) in the article / page box in html mode; then the contact form that can be custom is another way to make it.

Here are the steps.

1. Login to wordpress.com

2. Click the Post-Add New menu (create new posts).

3. Click the button to create a custom contact form. The button can be seen in the following picture (which is given a light blue box).

4. Here is the menu view. We can add fields by clicking add a new field

5.If the add a new field button is clicked, it will look like this. This new field can be set name, type and also the field is required or not.

6. If required is checked, if the visitor contacting the blog owner does not fill the field, the message will not be processed.

7. Field types that can be selected include checkbox, dropdown, email, name, radio, text, textarea, and website.

8. In addition, messages filled by blog visitors can be sent to a specific email address (not necessarily the email used for wordpress.com accounts). The subject of the message can also be set. It is useful to filter the message to enter a specific folder (yahoomail) or a given label (gmail) in the recipient's email account

if it's done, do not forget to disave (either the custom contact form menu and its postings)

thanks,
