I have gained that the main purpose of gathering with the brethren is to exhort and meet the need of one another, observing people that are in need. Doing good and having a sense of care. When we observe it helps us to know people that are struggling with one thing or the other in their lives at different levels.
I have also learnt that our Christian life should be maintained, there must be a guide for us to follow. Gathering with the brethren should give me a sense of awareness of meeting people's need in my own capacity.
This study has met my expectations in the aspect of our worship to God. Singing psalms and hymns to God, I now know the importance of singing in the place of worship. It is not only the choir that should sing, it is expected that singing songs unto God is an important aspect of our communication to God.
This study of God's word has affected me positively on the important day to gather with the brethren and worship God most especially on sunday is very biblical and not just for religious reasons alone it is a commandment given by God for us to adhere and obey. Gathering with the brethren on other days of the week is also good but we shouldn't be like the seven days adventists who only chose Saturdays as their day of gathering together to worship God. This study has shed more light on the specific day to worship God according to the bible.
In conclusion this study has emphasised more on code of dressing while going to the house of God, we shouldn't dress shabishly we must endeavour to dress to glorify God with our appearance or whatever attire we put on must bring honour to the name of the Lord and not dishonour.
