Roses are...

Roses are red, my love...🎵

Seeing the roses blooming in the rain made my heart skip a beat and hum the old tune. I was tempted to sing out loud, but someone was walking down the street (the hubby refers to him as the Bisaya), and I was being considerate, sparing him from hearing my off-key pitch, lol!

Oh well, magandang buhay💚

Monday came and went like it was rushing somewhere, probably because I had been busy with many things—multi-tasking again (didn't I promise myself not to do that?). I was reading, then the next minute I was chatting with my siblings in the family group chat, and scrolling too, switching between the browser and a shopping app supposedly for yarns (I was thinking about learning how to knit), but in the end (after an hour), I found myself checking out a couple of multifunctional glues instead. Yikes me!

Anyway, to rest my eyeballs, I stepped outside for a lil while, and that was when I noticed the roses, looking joyful despite being soaked drenched in the rain. "Why can't I be like you?" my thought murmured, and before it could say more, I quickly went back inside to take my phone for a wee photoshoot.

This was the potted one that we brought here from the Lil Kingdom last year, by the way. I'm sure the other ones are blooming there too. And I hope they continue to mesmerize whoever appreciates them.

I absolutely love the burst of color that brightened the day (and my mood too). Thought of moving the plant into the shaded area to let it rest from being so wet, but I changed my mind, since it's already thriving where it was.

I was glad to have stepped out; otherwise, I wouldn't have enjoyed these blooms and seen another soul (the passerby), especially since the hubby is currently away (drove to the capital last night). The LilGuy? He had just been napping. He did roar when the neighbor's Aspin came by in the afternoon. He got excited (and ran into the door) when he heard his Dada call his name. He might have thought he was outside, but he was just on the phone.😅
