A lovely morning in DD. Bright sunshine illuminating almost everything. It's going to be a hot Saturday, it seems. Yesterday was the same, so we drove to the other town, dropping by the farm store for more stuff. The new boys (workers) are kind of lavish with supplies; they use them up super-duper fast, lol!
Anyway, upon arriving, we parked on the usual spot on the roadside, and the hubby got busy giving instructions to one of the boys, so the LilGuy and I enjoyed the shade and cool air amongst the pine trees and grass. It was a relaxing space.
And while taking a photo of my boy resting after his little adventure, the display on the truck's windshield in the distance caught my eye.
And as expected, the next few minutes were spent snapping more, up close that is. The tall trees and their branches look imposing, even in their reflections. The windshield is just a mirror after all. And mirrors don't create the images themselves; they just show whatever is in their view.
Some appeared a bit distorted, especially those reflected in the shiny backs of the side mirrors. A click, then another, and some more. I didn't realize my head and hand got caught in one of them until I wrote this.
Looking out for a few more, I found some displayed on the truck's door and in its partially rolled-down window.
And surprisingly, this came out quite dramatic, even though the reflections are a bit faint.馃槏
Well, it wasn't the first time that spot had shown us beautiful displays. I've recorded many before and shared them here. I know there will be some more in the future, and I wouldn't hesitate to capture and write about them too.
This edition is my non-contest participation in the SMARP initiative by Olgavita. Thank you for such a fun prompt and for this space where we can freely share our takes.
