Hi everyone! Hope you all are doing well.
This is a pencil drawing I made for Pastor Dr. Sylvanus Ukafia, the Senior Pastor of Insight Bible Church (IBC). He is a medical doctor and university lecturer who left a promising career in medical practice to answer the call of God to the ministry.
This is actually the biggest drawing I’ve made so far of 4x6feet.
I would have taken time to detailed and express myself very well in the drawing because large drawings are very good for detailing but the time frame was too short (only 2 days to deliver) so I had to rushed it.
Well I’m grateful it came out fine after all.
I usually start my shading from the eye but in this drawing, I broke the rule and start with the clothe instead because I started the drawing at night and I don’t have a good light to use and I consider the face to be a very important part of the drawing as such any mistake in the face can result to me starting over so I couldn’t risk that.
