Ask random people that question, and you'll surely get infinite definitions. However, for me, it means:
Let yourself experience all sorts of feelings to make you emotionally strong.
Observe how you grow in the process of falling in and out of love.
Various obstacles will come your way in your journey to finding "the one."
Enigma as it is, this indescribable emotion keeps the world going.

BOUNDED
Others perceive love as a lifetime commitment, so they see marriage as the strongest bond to make two people become one. However, it wasn't the reason I drew this. What I had in mind then was the reality that I was forever tied to the profession I don't love, and it hurts a lot. It feels like you're embracing a cactus every day.
If you would be married to someone you don't love, would you be happy? I guess it's a matter of choice and acceptance. Because as years passed by, somehow, I learned to embrace my profession. And, I must say, it no longer hurts as it used to before; I've already gotten used to the pain, making me numb.
ESCAPE
What we are today is the product of who we were yesterday, yet our past does not always define what our future will be.
I have had my share of unsuccessful past (all of us, for sure, had been there) relationships that made me a prisoner of those events because of longing. And it almost made me lose faith in what the real meaning of love is. Both my heart and mind had been manipulated by those mishaps, but I didn't let them ruin me.
The day I unlocked the chains that bind me to the person and memories of the past was also the day of my freedom from the realm of melancholy. And I will always take pride in that... being courageous not to let myself down just because a coward turned out to be a disappointment.
GUARDED
Upon being disentangled from the misfortunes of the past, I have become more vigilant. As an introvert, I am selective of the people who I let in my life; and at present, I make sure to have added extra layers of defense to not let history repeat itself.
EMERGING
I will always be grateful for what my past experiences have taught me. For if not because of those, I might probably be a weakling now. It is because of the mischievous fate that I have learned to love myself more; it has all been made possible with the help of my family and close friends who genuinely love me.
