I've always heard some police officers are corrupt and their reputation is bad at some places including in my Country. They're known for the deep pockets and how it works everyday in daylight.

Some Years back once I had a really surprising and shocking experience with a police officer that I wanna share ahead in this one. So, let's begin with another storytelling.

it was going normal until that situation

I left my home and was on my way to school it's about years ago when I was in 6th grade actually and I had to travel everyday to reach school.

Most kids had school bus or other ways to travel but usually to save pocket money I used to get lift from a random person (that was almost everyday routine).

And I was kinda pro at it, so all it requires to get a lift was wave the hand everytime a bike pass (never tried with a car - cuz I knew the risk lol).

Anyway got the lift within 20 minutes and now that guy on bike is speaking something I can't hear cuz of the bike speed or sound my ear can't hear anything but I used to be like replying with yes, yes, yes I can hear you and understanding every single thing.

The Moment we got into Capital territory

Now after almost 7minute of traveling distance we've arrived in capital of my country which is Islamabad.

Where it was all good and fine, signal turned green and now going but than from nowhere a police officer whistle and stops us on the corner.

The guy on bike was actually like here we go now. It is happening, so the police officer came and asked where's your helmet?

Yeah, he wasn't wearing the helmet and it got weird when his next question was show me your license and he didn't had one.

Said, I was in rush going at job already late and forgot about helmet and license at home.

Now right beside him I'm listening to all these conversations getting more and more interesting and started to panic as I was sitting with a random guy.

He tipped him off but...

He was getting panic when police officer kept trying to put pressure on him and that moment when panic was real.

Took out money from the wallet and decided to hand him over. Like, dude was really tipping police officer off and in our native language that moment is when police officers and citizens mostly call "Chai Pani" translation; "Tea & Water".

Usually traffic police do stays up in daylight on duty and from that money they can get tea or water later lol.

But it didn't end well

When I was expecting all the matter is now about to be sorted on that tip but police officer ain't got no chill.

He fined that guy for 2,000rs and said you better not do this mistake again. I'm leaving you this time with a fine only and said you look responsible person who got confused and humbly left us out of trouble.

Wrapping up...

In the end while I was creating an assumption about police officer going to do dirty there but ended up as good and loyal to his work and duty who do their job responsibly.

That was once in a lifetime situation so far haven't came across anything more better than it even after years.

Fin.
