Greetings to all of us who are already in this beloved community, today I am back in front of your eyes to share some pictures of wild insects that I found in the Aceh forest yesterday afternoon, and the insects that I shared with you today are one of a kind. which is very unique with such a small size.
Yesterday afternoon I was looking for several types of insects in the forest close to my house and when I arrived there it was true that I managed to find some of these insects perched on the leaves there, and at first I didn't know if they were real insects because with such a small size it was very difficult to find them. I saw it, but after I approached it I realized that it was an insect that was perched there.
At first, I didn't know the name of this insect, but after I searched for additional information via Google Lens, it turned out that this insect has the name Lilioceris lilii.
The red lotus beetle, red lotus beetle, or lotus leaf beetle, is a leaf beetle that feeds on leaves, stems, buds, and flowers, lilies, fritillaries, and other members of the Liliaceae family. It lays eggs most frequently in Lilium and Fritillaria species.Source
As you can see, the explanation above is that these insects are slightly different from the information I found on Google, but after I searched further, it turned out that even though they are different in shape, they are still in the same family, so I am sharing information like that.
As usual, for taking pictures, I took pictures with the Android Samsung Galaxy J7 pro camera and I also took pictures from a different perspective, for editing the pictures I used Adobe Lightroom and some of the photos, let's see below, I hope you like it.
NOTE : I write in Indonesian with the help of Google to translate to English
