July 19th, 2018 was a good day for me! My precious grandson was born at 6:10 yesterday morning and I am officially a GRANDMA. He shares the same birthday as his mom and came in at 7 pounds, 10 ounces!
Once the excitement is settled down a bit, I found in my container a beautiful new bloom! I have no idea what it is called either, but the colors are so vibrant! This flower seed was from the bag of wildflowers mixed I planted.
A little while after discovered this flower, a gorgeous and perfect monarch also stopped by for a long visit. Her wings are all good, not tattered and torn like other butterflies at this time of year! I had a great time taking pictures until my battery died.
I considered yesterday was the best day of this summer so far! I am happy and contented!
