I love it when birds come and stop by for a visit! And yes, I had to lure them to my backyard with bird feeders. The majority of visitors are sparrows, and some other visitors are blue jays, cardinal, red-winged black birds, and this shy mourning dove.
Mourning dove usually waits for traffic to clear out, and feed on whatever left on the ground. One tiny noise, they would be gone. This one kept an eye on me as if to see if I made a movement.
