This flower is known as hot cake flower, and it is still blooming on my deck, along the side of the pink ones. I didn't think it would survive after the temperature changed, but it did. The frost made it extremely pretty to see.
I haven't figured out how to cultivate the seeds of these beautiful hot cake flowers yet. I looked at the old flowers, but still don't see the seeds. Maybe this is one of those flowers that need to propagate in a different way than planting the seeds. Will have to Google this information later!
