I believe this is a juvenile black chinned sparrow, and he was warming up in the sun on a very clear blue sky. The entire thing called for a shot even though I would rather see and taking pictures of other birds.
The sky was so blue all the way around that it was unbelievable. I guess my fingers were itching for snapping pictures, and these turned out quite pleasantly.
