The distinctive feature of this kind of tree, which has a broad trunk and numerous branches, is the white cotton decoration on the fruit. The local name for this tree species is kapok. For some locals, the fact that this tree still exists is a favorite. This is because some residents of the interior still utilize the cotton produced by this tree as a filler for pillows and mattresses. Here are some images of the kapok tree in more detail:
