This tool is great for every developer, who works with emails. Without this tool developers use their own testing emails like gmail, hotmail etc. With this tool every email is sent to mailtrap account defined in your app. For example Laravel has native presets in .env config file for mailtrap account. So if you are developing something, which involves sending of an emails, I recommend to use this great product without risk of spamming real customers.
