Whoever said you must have it all figured out on time? Who made the rules that your 20s and 30s are your deadlines? Whoever said you are a loser for not getting your acts together? Who?
Societal pressures and standards have forced so many people to do what they are not proud of. People’s consciences aren’t working anymore and for empathy? The world is slowly losing it and this is so sad.
The pressure to succeed before a certain age is getting too much, and don’t get me started with the pressure to get married because your biological clock is ticking so fast. Who made all these sorts of rules that are seemingly unfair to young people trying to find their path in this world?
You go to family dinners and parties and you are being bombarded with so many questions and pep talks, I mean, I appreciate the effort, care and concern but constantly reminding me to beat societal standards ASAP whilst putting myself under unnecessary pressure is utterly insane.
To a lot of us out there, the world is like a big ocean, you either swim or sink, and trust me we are all hanging on to the former despite it being overly challenging. While some are swimming effortlessly, some are barely staying afloat.
Everyday we try our best to get closer to our goals which isn’t a walk in the park but guess what? We do it regardless.
While we all try to become that great person we’ve always dreamt of being, I pray we do not lose ourselves or give up halfway without seeing the very end of our struggles.
I listened to a very beautiful song today and I decided to share it with you all.
The title of the song is Never Giving Up by Fearless Soul and it was released in 2020.
Never Giving Up is a beautiful song. It is a motivational song that encourages us to never give up. There are so many motivational songs out there, but this particular song struck a chord, and I couldn’t help but share it with you all.

The battle may be lost, but I can win the war
It might look like things aren’t working in our lives or achieving our dreams and aspirations seems far-fetched but guess what? Only time will tell.
Giving up shouldn’t be our last resort in life as it can only get better, if not now but someday.
At times it’s hard to see the changes
Or read the writing on the wall
Things will definitely fall in place but if we give up way too soon we will miss out on seeing how everything turns out.
