Hi everyone I thought I would share with you all today a pen drawing of hands I completed using the cross hatch technique.It took a few hours to complete with all the detail and background.
I used the cross hatching technique to create the shadows and depth. The darker the tones the more cross hatches I used.
Drawing hands are always something I've found difficult but I think getting the right shading helps it look realistic and starting with a pencil sketch.
I used black paint for the background to get it extra dark than using just pen.
Done on A4 paper with a biro pen.
