A Jonny Depp portrait drawing using pencils and charcoal on A4. I used the pencil for outline and light shading and then charcoal for the darkest tones.
When drawing him it's important to capture his key characteristic of dreamy eyes. They're slightly larger and pupils dilated more than normal. He looks contemplative like he is in mid thought.
