A drawing of a woman done using pen. I wanted to explore the effect of crosshatching but instead of straight lines I did short curved lines. The darker the tones got the more lines I used.
It's quite an experimental drawing but I liked the effect and may explore it further in future pieces.
This portrait was done on A5 paper and I used Faber-Castell Ink pens to draw it. The different pen thickness allowed me more variation in cross-hatching.
