What's up!
This is one of my favorite self-portraits, I took it in Colombia about 1 year ago, I had not been able to upload it to the blog because at that time I was using a 32GB memory and this one was damaged, leaving me completely unemployed to take my photographs until I could buy another memory, but this time 64GB, although by that time I had already lost the photographs I had saved.
Esta fotografía creo que es uno de mis autorretratos favoritos, lo realice en Colombia hace 1 año aproximadamente, no la había podido subir al blog ya que en ese momento usaba una memoria de 32GB y esta misma se dañó, dejandome completamente en paro para realizar mis fotografías hasta que pude comprar otra de 64GB pero para ese entonces ya había perdido las fotografías que había guardado.
I was watching my email a little bit and remembered that to upload the picture to my instagram social network I sent that picture. I started searching for that picture to show it to this community, in about 1 hour I managed to find the picture I was looking for.
Estuve observando un poco mi correo electrónico y recordé que para subir la fotografía a mi red social instagram, envié esa fotografía. Me puse manos a la obra en la búsqueda de dicha fotografía para mostrárselas en esta comunidad, en aproximadamente 1 hora logré encontrar la fotografía que buscaba.
Now I want to tell you about the way I took this picture; in instagram I have seen a lot of portraits where they use red and blue lights, giving a very good contrast in the photos, I wanted to do something similar and I used the flashlights from my cell phone and my cousin's who was with me at that time, as we didn't have any colored paper to make those tones, we decided to use some pillowcases to give those blue and red touches, one flashlight in a blue cover and the other in the red one, so I managed to give that magic touch.
Ahora quiero contarles la manera en la que realice esta fotografía; en instagram he visto mucho retratos donde usan luces de colores rojo y azul, dando un contraste muy bueno en las fotos, yo quise hacer algo similar, usé las linternas de mi telefono celular y el de mi primo que en ese momento se encontraba conmigo, como no teniamos ningún papel de colores para hacer esos tonos, decidimos usar unos cobertores de almohadas para dar esos toque azul y rojo, una linterna en un cobertor azul y la otra en el rojo, entonces logré dar ese toque tan mágico.
