This is my entry for the Share Your World Contest. There are five questions and you need answer at least three. I'm going to try to answer all five.
Well, here we go
Meet Charis!!
Charis is a very funny dude. He's funny in two ways.
He's sarcastic. I used to think I had a stockpile of funny sarcastic replies until I met him. You could ask something like "Are you here for a lecture?" and he reply "nah, I came to count the chairs." What's makes it funny is that people who don't know him will think he'd serious. I know it isn't cool but I find it funny.
Sexual inference. There's no discussion I've raised with him where he doesn't refer to sex. I wish I could reproduce some where but I can't remember any. He's not sexist though (although I suspect he might be addicted to porn. Lol)
Clown! Weird! Creative! Unpredictable!
I know because I often walk into conversations. Plus, it's something they say around me all the time.
I agree with the clown and weird part. I write a lot of stories so maybe I'm creative. I'm not sure about unpredictable though. I think I'm a very predictable person. Maybe they see things I don't see.
Salaries. My country (Nigeria) has one of the highest earning legislature in the world! On the flip side, we are among the 20 most poorest country in the world. Talk about daylight robbery and corruption.
I'll slash all salaries at once. I doubt if it will last long though. The lawmakers make the law. And there's a mechanism built into the constitution that allows them to pass laws without presidential assent.
First, over here, we don't have spring/autumn/winter/summer. It's either the rain season, dry season or harmathan season.
I prefer the weather in the rainy season. There's less dust around (I sneeze a lot). The sun isn't as hot as it is during the rainy season. Plus, the weather is usually cool. As a bonus, when it rains at night, I like the coolness in the air.
So my kinda weather is a cool weather, with little sunshine. (there should be sunshine, no matter how little.)
I basically grew up as a recluse. I was raised in a rough neighborhood and my parents didn't want me to associate with the folks in the hood.
While I like to think my childhood was fun, I can't pinpoint a time when I had 'so much fun'. There were the occasional outings, presents and all. But nah, I can't think of an event that answers the question
And it's a rap
Thanks for reading
