Goldbrick (Limerick + Meme)

This is my first attempt at both writing a Limerick and creating a meme. I hope I don't suck at both.

First, the Limerick

S.D said I should write a limerick
I settled down to write this brick by brick
I hope this isn’t corny
Lord knows I need the money
Damn, this is turning into a goldbrick

And what I'll do with the money

My name is Gracious Egedegbe (call me Gray) and winning this contest will make my week. I only recently went back to poetry and this is my first limerick. Winning this will give me the (false?) impression that I wrote a good limerick. However, I need that impression to encourage me to write more.

About the money I’m a broke ass university dropout that depends on Steemit for survival. I’ll add the prize money to my growing collection of Steem and blow off some steam when the hunger pangs get too much.

Dude, no disrespect but I'm tired of talking already. Do I get the money or not?
