Are you poly or otherwise ethically non-monogamous? If so, how did you discover you preferred these types of relationships?

I'm going poly but I must admit, it isn't something I originally wanted to do.

I used to be the hopeless romantic from a Christian background. I dreamt of happiness with the one true love of my life. Reality taught me different.

After getting involved in relationships, I see it now. Humans aren't essentially monogamous. It's just something we've been taught. The human spirit wants to explore.

Well, I've decided to follow the trend for a while and see where it leads. If I don't like it, I'll reconsider monogamy
