Land is the best and most important investment I think better than all others. But you cant take land anywhere. If the neighborhood gets taken over by criminals your investment will be worthless.

If you can make a plan and get and excavator on it? I wish I would have rented one ten years ago. In 7 weeks I cleared 4 acres nicely keeping selected trees and building large berms with the trunks and limbs for erosion control. Dug a large pond and started clearing two other areas on my land. One with sandy soil for peanuts and one for my greenhouse. Anyway it is worth the cost because progress is quick and spectacular.
