Hello everyone! This is my entry for the #monomad challenge. This picture is during our beach trip with my little sister. The background is a drained sea caused by low tide. Little did she know that I took pictures? She was sad a little bit when we stepped on the reefs because we distracted the creatures under the sea.

It was her first time to see alive octopus, starfish, jellyfish, sea orchins, clams, seahorse, fish and snails. The green leaves used to cover unmentioned creatures. Some of them are camouflaging just to hide from us. Some of them are making small holes as their safest zones in order to survive on low tide. Clams hide under the sands that people used to dig so they have something to sell.

It was around 3pm but we could still feel the intense rays of the sun. It is during this time when the sun isn’t painful anymore when it hit on our skin, but because it’s summer, it was still strong even if we were at the sea. Thanks heaven that the sea air soothes the hotness we feel that sweats just disappear. Even if it’s hot, my sister still liked to explore the sea because it’s our first time to see a lowtide.

The white sand is beautiful and the clear water. Before lowtide, the place she stood by was deep that we couldn’t swim into, but slowly, it became an island. Behind is the sea water that looks like a current of a river.

The dried sea looks like a field. My sister was wondering what kind of creature she saw. It looked like an umbrella, but when it feels like someone is watching, it folds itself like hidding.
