HELLO DEAR HIVERS! I HOPE YOU ARE ALL DOING GREAT. TODAY I WANT TO SHARE A CELEBRATION that holds a special place in my heart.
It came as a UNEXPECTED SURPRISE, because we had no idea that my grandma and my aunt would take the time to design and buy a cake for my mother. As I mentioned in my last blog, this month has been filled with unexpected surprises.
As we were together, I felt it was time to remember. So I said we should take a picture. She looked really happy. She didn't know there were more surprises than coming.
This cake was a suprise for my mothers sister. Even though she is in another country, She also gave my mom some money, which brought tears to her eyes.
When the news broke about the board exam results, it was my sister who stumbled upon the information first. As she casually scrolled through her phone she saw many congratulatory messages.
My sister realized that our mother had also taken the board exam. She quickly went to the results page. Among the list of names she found was she was looking for our mother's name shining brightly showing her success.
My sister was really happy with what she saw. She was tempted to voice her excitement loudly.
But there were too many people inside the bus. Instead, she immediately messaged our mother, telling her great news. It was a big deal for our family.
My mom was really scared to check the results. Because last year, she didn't pass , so this year she was worried. She was too afraid to look because she didn't want to disappoint again. But proudly, she passed thank god.
That night, as my sister checked the results, I too checked it. Like my sister, I looked for our mother's name in the list and I felt uneasy because what if my mother didn't pass. But thank god it's time.
The prayer of us got heard. When I saw the results, I couldn't help but feel a mix of emotion. Knowing how much effort she put in, the sleepless nights, and tirelessly studying, it was so inspiring to see her dedication pay off.
It was her third attempt at the exam, and the realization that she had finally succeeded was so fulfilling. It was evident that our mothers perseverance, and we always believed in her.
My mother told us that we can't spread the news that she passed due to certain reasons, However, my sister believes that achievements like these should be celebrated.
She felt that after putting in so much effort and perseverance, my mother deserves recognition. Eventually, my sister managed to persuade my mother.
The first person we shared the news with was our father. His reaction was genuinely heartwarming. He immediately wanted to see the results for himself.
The next people that we shared the news with were my grandma and my mother's siblings. When we arrived at their house, my grandma looked so tired, maybe for a long day of washing the clothes.
However, when we told her about my mom passing the exam, her weary face changed into one of pure joy. Everyone was excited and offered their congratulations.
Later that night, we decided to share the news on social media. It wasn't about showing off, we were just overwhelmed with happiness and wanted to celebrate my moms accomplishment as a License Professional teacher.
My mother and I shared a special bond, not just as the mother and daughter bus as friends. Whenever she had a trip she always took me along, because she knows how I love to explore places.
One memorable place was Cebu Ocean Park. The place was really nice. Everywhere we looked, there were fishes. What made the trip more amazing was the restaurant near to the aquatic life, giving a close up view of the fish as they ate.
The place felt magical, like we were under the sea. I wish I could share a glimpse of those unforgettable memories, but sadly, it was already on youtube.
