I know what you are saying. The problem is, as you said, the world is already screwed up and the authority knows this better. But they will not make any room for us to breathe. Mostly because of the Controlled Opposition you are talking about. The kings/who have powers will try to force everything to continue running capitalism because this game will continue to make them kind.
