Like many I too converted my altcoins to HBD because I felt, it was a lot safer. That's the first characteristic met by HBD. And I'm hopeful.

I usually convert HBD to Hive, deposit it in exchange, sell for BTC, then have to sell it to our local channels for our local currency. Many do the same where crypto is not do popular.

Taking HBD directly out of Hive is a hassle. Most usually convert it to Hive and in the way lose some. I'm from a place where no crypto exchange is allowed. lol. So the first one is not an option for me.
