Just the other day, while chatting with each other and sharing photos of the children, hubby and I noticed there wasn't many photos of us couple together. We were always too busy watching the kids and our attention wasn't to take photos of US. Also, we are not the photos, selfie and wefie kind of people. I told the hubs the next round if we ever had date, we must remember to take photo.

Today!

It happened just now when mother-in-law said she could come over for couple of hours to watch the kids, while bringing the nephew here. The boys were extremely excited to play with the cousin and US adults extremely happy we could go out for some breather. A simple lunch and chit chatting before we headed for a movie - T E N E T.

We actually almost forgot again. Too carried away with chitchatting and eating, but good thing we remembered somehow to we-fie halfway dining. Husband was trying to hold the phone without shaking and we managed to get a good shot. We were not particular with angle or how we looked. This was good enough!

Then the food...

Kimchi soup rice!

I usually ordered this when I came to this shop. It was appetising and the soup was packed with chicken meat and tofu. To me, it was a balanced meal.

Nasi Lemak Chicken rendang

This dish was close to his heart. Sambal, aka our chilli paste and the chicken rendang, very yummy in the tummy.

Last but not least...

Dessert

This was Barley with gingko. Nice and not too unhealthy sweet. However, we noticed they had cut down the amount of barley and gingko maybe due to hard times. After that, I went to a shop nearby to buy some local Malay sweet dessert like 'ondeh-ondeh' and 'kuih talam', however I forgot to take picture as we gotto to quickly to catch our show.

Tenet

Exciting from the first start of the show then it gets somehow complicated (to me) because it involved time, the future and the past. I always got confused with such movie. Like people from future come to the past to predict what going to happen in the future then they go back future. Then people from now can also go to the future to see what's going on. Very complicated for my brain. This time, I couldn't ask many questions because my husband was sitting at the seat next next to me. We were not near each other, practice social distancing so we were not supposed to sit on cushion marked 'x'.

Came back to home sweet home

I missed the boys while I was out, and when I am at home, I miss going out with husband. What an irony of life.
