Children love presents, they loved opening them, using new things for the first time. But usually, what I noticed, the excitement did not last long. Not that there was something wrong with this, just that that was the reason I wanted to cut down buying even more things for them. Anyway, it was his birthday, so a little presents from the parents did no harm.
We bought them Plants vs. Zombie soft toys and layered colour set earlier, few days before Jansen's birthday, and I usually would buy one set for his brother too for being an understanding helpful boy in the house.
They were definitely thrilled with the soft toys as well as the colour set, to them they were super duper awesome!
