For the past few months, we have had the luxury of strolling, scooting, jogging and walking at the ground floor of our apartment. Before that, it was always staying at home, facing the four walls. Human are human. We need to go out. We need fresh air. And our bodies need to move. I come to term with myself and stepped out of fear of Covid19, and decided to go down daily for some activities. Most of the time, the boys would play scooters, running here and there, playing hide and seek at the pillars, and walking around doing their creatures/plants researches. I did not have a scooter yet, so I walked around and occasional jogged too. I especially love to just enjoy the breeze, the nature, the sky, the plants and even the air. It just felt different eventhough there was air at home too. For this blog, I wanted to share especially the amazing nature at my apartment. All these photos I had taken in the span of few days, and still, I can't cover all the greens. Some are planted by management, some are by residents some are naturally there due to this place used to be a hill.

This is a simple apartment with no other amenities except a small playground. What we love about this apartment is it has a spacious lobby where kids will spent time playing there; cycling, in-line skating, scooting, play football and even small-scale picnic. I did not take photos of other people for their privacy purpose. Due to the location, most evenings are windy, breezy and comforting to the soul. Let's have a look aa I tour you. 馃榿

Lobby entrance

At where the main lobby is, there is this piece of wall with designs and there are blocks of rocks at this 'V' shape section for people to do foot massage by stepping on them with barefoot. Nothing grand like other condominiums, no lightings or sort, but I absolutely love the simple classic designs of rocks and bricks. Plus the management tried their best to plant plants surrounding it. Behind this wall is where the lifts are.

I am not sure why I love this spot. Perhaps the simplicity of it and also alot of children love to hop on the squares or run around this 'V' shape. A place of joy and laughter. Zoom in one of the plants there.

Just in front of this wall will be a pillar where people stop their car for pick-ups. Right at the pillar are some plants too.

If you stand at the 'V' section, you will see the playground section, surrounded by beautiful plants and trees. I didn't go to the playground to take photos because it wasn't open that day, perhaps for maintenance or disinfection. Do you notice a pinkish section plants at below photo? This is my favourite. Totally beautiful pinkish plants.

Let's tour around the block

Usually, I will walk around the whole block with other joggers and below will be my view. We love to hang out here where the green grass is because sometimes we may see grasshoppers and tiny butterflies. The boys really love insects so they will stand at this spot to wait for their 'creatures' to arrive. Lol...

Many residents here began to plant alot of small pots plants since lockdown started last year.

While walking, I will see the banana trees, hibiscus and palm trees and some wild plants. It was windy on one particular day, my hair was almost being blown apart lol...me ended like a messy hair woman. And the flag proudly flip-flap by the wind.

When reaching the behind part of the blocks where most cars parked, we can see natural plants and trees from the hill. It used to be more, but some of them had beem chopped off. =(
It was amazing to see one section was greyish gloomy almost raining and another section still bright. Browse down you will notice the whole stretch of the car park I captured by using phone's panoramic setting.

The boys were always walking faster than me because they were looking for their creatures aka insects.馃榿

At the entrance into our apartment, we recently notice the durian tree planted by one of the residents have started to bear fruits. If you do not know, durian is the king of fruit in oir country being tough, thorny and deliciously smelly. I will just show you the photos.

I hope I will be the lucky receiver when the durians are ripe!

Then, there are always this 'couple' which always stand out among the greens. I can't help but to see them having eyes, nose and mouth, consistently observing me because long time ago, I sticked #googlyeyes on them before. Hahaha. Those days when we blogged on googly eyes stuff.

The boys are always full of laughter when they come down here at the lobby/ground floor. I believe we are intertwined with the nature. The wind and the air and the breeze seems to blow away sorrows. The sound of the rain or water or waterfall calms our noisy thoughts. The greens seems to change our perspective to see worries as hopes. The blue sky reminds us on freedom to fly, to dream, to have a wide vision. Just see how bubbly joyful they were whenever they were here.

They laughed at the slightest thing like how their mask danced away according to the directions of the wind.

We could spend more than one hour here if we didn't watch the time. Sometimes, I wish, we are not bound by time. And just freely being carried away by the nature.

Thank you for reading. Stay bubbly. Stay hopeful.
