So, too, is Arkemis, known throughout the Splinterlands simply as “The Bear.”

Arkemis the Bear is a Promo Card from the Winterfest End of Year Promotion which is only available until January 12, 2023 at 4 PM ET / 21:00 UTC. This card can be obtained by purchasing either a Chaos Legion, Riftwatcher or Tower Defense pack which then will grant you a guaranteed Regular Foil Arkemis The Bear and for every 50 purchase in a single transaction, a guaranteed Gold Foil will be provided.
So with this promo card, is this card really worth it? Let's see and review this card.
For those who are new to my post, I usually post information which is related in the Silver League Modern Format.
Arkemis The Bear is a promo card in a common rarity from the Neutral element which specialized in melee damage.
Arkemis deals a great melee damage, a high health without having any armor and a decent speed but missed a lot once debuff.
Looking at the abilities, Arkemis The Bear gives an armor to all its allies, a halving ability which reduce the enemies attack by half. This ability is pretty unique as there are only two monster with this ability ever exist. Then a forcefield and enrage ability.
In terms of summoners, Possibilus The Wise is the best summoner currently as it gives Arkemis the ability to attack in the second position and being the secondary tank in the team. Grandmaster Rathe could also be a good one to pair with due to its Void Armor ability which then synergized with Arkemis protect ability.

In terms of monsters, I believe that below monsters greatly synergize with Arkemis due to their abilities.
| River Hellondale gives a great boost in the attack of melee monsters and with his ressurect ability, it even gives a great opportunity and boost to those monsters with the Void Armor ability. Arkemis The Bear protect ability gives a great boost to these monsters armor. | |
| Legionnaire Alvar is one of the monster with the Void Armor ability which can be then a great front line defense against magic monsters which is then boosted further by Arkemis and with Possibilus as the summoner, Arkemis could do a great support to this card. | |
| Lemell Refugee is a good substitute to Legionnaire Alvar however the armor this card have is not that big which is why an additional armor from Arkemis would be a great opportunity to boosted this card defense against magic unit. |
There are quite a lot of monsters that can work with Arkemis the Bear but without the melee mayhem, equal opportunity and super sneak ruleset, Arkemis could not be able to attack when position in the backline. Only Possibilus currently is the one that could grant Arkemis the ability to attack in the second position.
With the said ruleset above, melee monsters with the shield or void armor ability would be the best to benefit with Arkemis blessing.
There are quite a specific ruleset that is most likely applicable to Arkemis but the following I think would be the best
There are two battles which I use the same line-up with the same ruleset. Arkemis in this 2 battle gives a great support in the front line and dealing a great damage with the help of Possibilus blessing.
In my opinion, Arkemis is a very powerful common card when use correctly. There might be some difficulties in using this but overall the halving effect is truly painful. The protect even gives advantage to its allies by having a secondary layer of protection against physical attack and even magical attack if the void armor is in effect.
With a high mana cost, Arkemis is only applicable in high mana battle.
