I've taken a deliberate turn in the past couple of years to harder sounds as I feel like I've finally gotten to a point as a producer where I can turn out something with a ton of energy, but if there is a line that cuts through music I like it tends to be a sense of melancholy and I always find myself coming back to stuff like this. I've made stuff like this in the past and I'm really drawn to these type of pads and melodies, but right now I just feel like in the past 2 years I've figured out how to make the techno I like and I've gotten much more reluctant at making stuff like this.
