Do you sometimes not reply to comments because you don't want to sound like you are an angry person?

Ok, I just erased all of what I wrote here AGAIN. My rep is my online cred and I treat it like gold. On facebook for example, where I was a beta tester before anyone even knew what it was, I can say with confidence, that you can't find one negative interaction in my entire posting history. Zero. I wish to continue that lifelong trend, just like I have a superb record in real life interactions. So, if I see a comment on a post I have made, and it is obviously wrong due to the person misinterpreting what I actually wrote, AND people have upvoted said comment...what to do? If a few upvote that means more than a few read. Meaning that's a few potential non-readers of my stuff if they think that person is credible in their opinion of my writing. How do you personally handle things like this.
