Greetings to all Splinterlands players and members of the Hive gaming community! It's the end of the new season in Modern format where brackets were introduced. I chose to compete in Bronze where I'm most comfortable with and ended in Division 3. I was in the top thirty in the leaderboards and earned 10k glints. In the Frontier, I was in the top 58 but it was not enough to earn a prize.
I already bought two legendary chests during the season so there was only enough glints to buy one more legendary chest bringing my haul to three cards in total. Unfortunately, I got Kervik who I already have. I suppose I can combine when I get one more to get him to level two. I would have preferred a new card.
What's good about Kervik is his low mana. At only four mana, he has three attack and sneak skills. Above is a sample battle involving Kervik. He joins a magic heavy water team. He's actually a card I used to fill in the four mana slot because he's my best four mana card in the water team.

Join a Guild
If you are a player with few cards in your deck. Join a guild that can assist you to grow in Splinterlands. You can join brawls to earn SPS, enjoy reward multipliers and shop discounts. Since joining a guild, I'm adding my cards by buying from the shop and the market. This makes the game more fun and add progression. If you're not a guild member yet, now is the time to find one.
As a guild member do your part by having the right cards and showing up in the fray you have joined in brawls.
