Many a time, people don't know if its God or Satan that's doing certain things. There was an evangelist some years ago. He had set up a tent which seated 20,000 people. Buh when he put it down in Texas, one if those Texas tornadoes came along and blew it away. At his meeting while he was taking up special offering to get another tent he said "I don't know whether God or the Devil blew away my tent". God is not out blowing down gospel tent, God is out putting dem up! Someone said, "buh God allowed it". According to 2corinthians 4:4 ("In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them") God is not the god of this world, the bible verse calls Satan the god of this world.

It is because people do not understand this that they blame God of accidents, sickness, floods and other natural disasters. God is not responsible, nor the author of any of those things.
Jesus stood on board the ship and rebuked the storm, saying l, " Peace be still" According to John 14:10 (" Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works") it was God in him who did that work, if God cause the storm he would be working against himself in causing it to cease. That cannot be. Jesus said in Mark 3:24-25 ("And if a kingdom be divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. 3:25 And if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand"). Jesus Christ himself contrasted his works with the works of the devil in John 10:10 ("John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly"). Jesus said. "The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy....." That which steals, that which kills, that which destroys is a thief. All such is the devil's work not Gods. Many times in the old testament, when God talks about God's doing something, he did not actually perform it. In other words, he was not the agent who did it. He did not send evil on anyone. God already had warned, "if you sin, these things will happen to you"
We all have sinned and come short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23-"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God"). But God did not intend that we would sin. We sinned because man listened to the devil, buh. Thank God, we do not have to let the devil dominate us now. Even tho he is the god of this world, he does not have the right to dominate the church. He does not have the right to dominate us believers!
