Look Back
How valuable are you to God! 1 Peter 1:18-19 says that you are so valuable that silver and gold cannot but you. It took the precious blood of Jesus Christ to purchase you. God allowed His only begotten son to be beaten to the extent that His flesh was turn to pieces for the sake.
You need to constantly remember the price He paid for you. Making a sacrifice that is not appreciated brings a lot of sorrow. When you do not value the sacrifice Jesus Christ made for you do not appreciate the sacrifice He made for you. Do not make the Holy Spirit sad.

Look Forward
Remember that Jesus Christ is coming again. Look forward to the glory that is ahead. 2 Corinthians 4:17-18 says Paul called all his sufferings light afflictions. This was because he was looking forward to the great weight of glory to be revealed. Look forward to that day when the Lord will come. He is coming quickly with His reward to give everyone according to their works. Whatever we suffer now is nothing compared to the glory that is coming.
How far do you want to go with God? If where you are now is okay by you then there is no need for further sacrifice and humility. 1 peter 5:1-4 tells us that when the chief Shepherd shall appear, you will appear with Him in glory. Do not use today to spoil your tomorrow. Be humble today so that you can win and increase tomorrow.
