Mans idea of Humility
Humility can be described as the quantity or state of not thinking you are better than other people. Man has his own idea of humility. In human terms, humility involves greeting everyone, bowing and showing respect to one's elders, speaking softly & gently and generally being nice to people around. If God really reveals the state of their hearts, everyone will see that pride is major and deeply rooted feature of their character.

Gods idea of Humility
Man's view on humility is very different from God's view. Many times, man thinks that being humble means cowering in front of others, but God says that a man who is free from pride knows that in his heart, his is imperfect, yet he knows that before God he stands perfect through the blood of Jesus Christ. Such man knows that as long as he is in his human body, there is not much he can do, and only through the enabling if the holy spirit in him can he do the things which seem to come easily to him.

Jesus is our perfect example of humility. He is our standard when we talk about Godly humility. Although Jesus Christ was the son Of God, he was gently & humble, Mathew 11:28 says, "for i am meek & lowly in heart".
Your attitude should be the same as the attitude of Jesus Christ. Philippians 2:6 "Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: 2:7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: 2:8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross"
