The presence if God is not a place, its a realm. Its a realm you can duell in permanently If you so desire. The kingdom of God is a realm, the realm of God is the atmosphere in his presence, and his presence guarantees his present.
When you go far away from God, you will run dry. The holy spirit has nothing to do with you are disconnected from the father and what breaks our relationship with God is nothing but sin. It is written in the bible "Behold, the lord's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; Neither his ear heavy, that he cannot hear: But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have his his face from you, that he will not hear"
A wise man one said "if you run after the healing and leave the healer, you will lose the healing. If you run after the miracle and leave the miracle giver, you will lose the miracle. If you run after the blessing and leave the Blesser, you will lose the blessing"
If you can recognize his presence in the midst of trouble, you will be joyful in times of trials and tribulations because when the lord is with you favour is your natural companion, but when you lack Gods presence, people will give to you out of their convenience/pity not because the are excited to do so.
