This year, the NYE is celebrated quite solemnly due to many disasters happening in the country. So there are no extreme loud fireworks or any actual parties.

In our country, we have also experienced strong disasters. The most tragic one we experienced was Typhoon Tino last November. As flood control issues become more prevalent, my countrymen have no more 'shallow' reasons to be happy. It is just sad that our Philippine government abuses our resiliency. Haha, just sharing.

Despite the government's audacity in making us dumb, we were still able to enjoy welcoming 2026. I'm glad to hear that you still enjoyed it, even not like before.
