Unless you happen to live in a big city, in which case you may get out of here. I don't want any of you unpleasant snobs lurking around my posts.
In any case. This lad was bright, but quiet. He didn't really have any friends... he didn't really want them. He found comfort, he found joy, in artwork - both viewing and creating it.
He read manga like it was his life support, he attempted to draw his own. He would sit quietly in the back of the classroom, halfway listening to whichever teacher he had at that moment blabbing inanely at the front.
He almost got in trouble numerous times. But... he was a top notch student, even if he was a little odd, and his foster parents were the school's biggest supporters.
This, of course, does not mean that they were physically larger than any of the other supporters - though his foster father did have a rather dominating build. They simply donated more, something which they could afford to do because they were quite rich.
This lad had foster parents because his parents had died when he was but a child - something which others seems to find troubling. It was, however, not something which bothered him immensely - he was a complicated person, researching deep philosophical questions at quite a young age, and so he found that their deaths did not bother him much more than that of others - something which did bother him quite a bit, as his personality was... complicated.
In any case. His current "parents" had chosen to adopt him, in part because they wanted a child - mostly just to claim they had a child - and in part because his birth parents had worked for them, and they felt quite guilty for their deaths.
However, his foster parents were busy people. Busy, busy people. And so they had much to do, many business operations to run and meeting to set up. And so they left him, for the most part, alone - something which he was quite happy about.
In any case. His teachers could hardly bother him for so clearly ignoring him, his grades seemed to indicate that he knew what he was doing and the administration would hear nothing against him.
He wasn't lonely, of course. Never that. He was quite happy sitting alone, quite happy for the most part ignoring and being ignored by the other students.
At least that's what he told himself. But sometimes... sometimes it hurt.
-hyperbole out.

Tell me if you want a part two,
maybe I'll see what I can do
