It's still me, HY. The past week has been the traditional Vietnamese New Year holiday, and today is the last day of this 9-day holiday. We had a wonderful long holiday.
Traditional Vietnamese New Year is a day for a family reunion. For those of us who work far away from home, away from home like us, this is an opportunity to return to our family, to our parents, to gather together for a meal, to clean and decorate the house together to welcome a new year with us. May all things be blessed, new, and smooth.
Today I want to introduce to you a place that is a place to have fun and visit on this Tet holiday, which is March 24 Square. Square 24/3 is located on Hung Vuong Street, Tam Ky city, the city of Quang Nam province. The remaining 3 sides are bordered by Tran Hung Dao, Dao Duy Tu, and Tran Phu streets. The square campus has an area of about 4.6 hectares. This is a place for people to live, play and entertain, especially for children, and organize political, cultural, and social events of the province and city.
On every Tet holiday, this place is splendidly decorated with colorful flower baskets. At the center of the square is placed 6 large tigers made of decorative materials, symbolizing the year 2022 as the year of the tiger. The square is very busy with the flow of people, especially those who come to take pictures, and adults bring children here to participate in unique spring activities. In addition to the space decorated with colorful spring flowers, the rental services of electric bicycles, remote control cars, mobile ice cream stalls, taking photos... also contribute to creating a happy atmosphere. Happy spring for this place.
We came here in the early afternoon, the weather these days is not very sunny, it is covered with clouds, so it is very suitable for outdoor fun activities like this. Little girls and boys in new clothes and beautiful new dresses and their parents roam around the square, participating in fun activities, creating a bustling atmosphere for the traditional New Year's Day Vietnam. Around the square, there are many coffee shops, on Tet holidays, or on weekdays, these shops are also very crowded. Because this is the center of Tam Ky city, the city is very developed in terms of infrastructure, and this is the administrative center city of Quang Nam province, so investment and development are very important.
In addition to March 24 Square, Tam Ky city also has other places for you to visit during Tet such as the Monument of Vietnamese Heroic Mother - Mother Thu in Tam Phu Commune, the campus of the Cultural and Information Center. province news... Everyone is eager to welcome the new year with peace, lots of luck, capture the moments of reunion, have fun with loved ones and enjoy the fresh air in this new year.
Traditional Vietnamese New Year is calculated according to the lunar calendar, usually takes place after the New Year about 20 days to 1 month, depending on the annual lunar calendar, which is leap or not, according to the State's holiday schedule, we will have 5 days off. days, but because this year Tet falls on a weekday, the holiday is extended to 9 days including Saturday and Sunday. Depending on the company, the business will adjust the day off, maybe less or more.
Tet is an opportunity for people to come back to their families to reunite, visit grandparents, and wish each other the best things to come in the new year. After a day of the holiday, we are about to return to the city where we live and work to continue our daily work, start a new year with hope but luck and success than the previous year.
