Welcome to the weekend of the 2nd day of the new year. I guess today you are still on your holiday and enjoying your weekend. Wishing you all a smooth and refreshing new year, a very happy weekend, and hopefully this year the Covid pandemic will end quickly.
Today, I will introduce to you a very interesting and poetic camping site, which is the Cu De River - Hoa Bac. In the previous post, I introduced you to a post about seeing the sunset on this riverbank. So today, on the weekend, we come back here to camp. After a busy year, this is also a relaxing camping trip, to review the good memories, the joys, and sorrows of the past year, and welcome a new year with lots of joy.
The Cu De riverbank, where we camped, is located in the northwest of Da Nang city, more than 30km from the center of Da Nang city, in Hoa Bac commune, Hoa Vang district, and this is also a place that is favorite. bYoung people choose to camp overnight because it is very beautiful with green grass, open space, next to the clear river, the scenery is so charming. The air here is fresh in four seasons of the year because it is surrounded by green trees. Here, people grow mainly sugarcane, and riverside crops such as potatoes, corn, beans... Taking advantage of the land along the river is compensated with alluvium, so here the trees are always lush without much need to be fertilized.
We prepare the food at home before setting off. We gathered at Nguyen Tat Thanh sea road and departed at 4 pm. Since we have been here before, the time we got here was faster than expected, because there was no need to find the way anymore. Along the Nguyen Tat Thanh sea route, we went to National Highway 1A, crossed the Nam O bridge pass by crossed the Cu De river at the mouth of the Nam O sea. At Nam O bridge, there is a beautiful railway crossing the river, and it is also a place to take photos of many young people in Da Nang, so you can stop to take photos with it. After that, we moved along the road to Hoa Bac, passing through the tall and straight sugarcane fields.
And after traveling for about 35 minutes, we reached the campsite. We started setting up our tents. There is a grocery store near where we plug in, we bought water there. The kind hostess lent us a wooden sofa to take down to the lawn to take pictures, and thanks to it, along with the beautiful scenery here, we were able to take great pictures. The sun started to slowly set behind the mountains, today it wasn't very nice so we couldn't take the best sunset photos like last time. After taking pictures, we started preparing the dishes for dinner with the favorite dishes for camping are BBQ including seafood, meat, and chicken. Because they are convenient for processing, they are delicious after processing, so any camping of young people like us chooses it. We gather together by the fire, enjoy food, sip a few cans of beer, and review the memories of the past year.
The year 2021 has gone by so hastily and quickly with more sadness than joy, and I think that's something no one wants to happen, but we can't stop it. The people in our team are some people from other provinces who come to live and work in Da Nang, including me, the rest are Danang people. In the past year, Da Nang city has been blocked twice according to the city's directive due to the complicated situation of the epidemic. Everyone is required to stay at home and not go out when it is not necessary to prevent the disease from spreading in the community, if going out must be allowed by the government. In our team, someone stayed in Da Nang to continue working from home, and I chose to return to my hometown before the lockdown city so I could work online. And I feel luckier than my friends because my design work can work online, and some industries like tourism discontinued, shutting down all of them, so they are unemployed, no income. They are forced to return to their hometown with their families or continue to stay in the city to earn a living by other temporary occupations. It's been a hard and difficult year for the workers.
Currently, the majority of people have been injected with 2-3 doses of Vaccines to help limit the spread in the community, and we have been able to return to work at the company for industries that are less affected, and Tourism has begun to reopen in the country and is testing opening to welcome foreign visitors. And we all wish for the pandemic to end quickly so that everything returns to a new normal. We may think everything we go through is a loss, but here's a challenge for us to accept that challenge and face it because we can't blame anyone for that. And when the pandemic is over, we'll start all over again, and life goes on.
Our camping today is like saying goodbye to the bad things of the old year and welcoming a new year with more luck, more fun, more smooth things, better work than the past years. The stories continued to flow quickly until midnight, we cleaned up and rested. The next morning we woke up early to catch the sunrise, but we were unlucky, it was very blind today and we couldn't see the sunrise. And we will come back here one more time, maybe on a summer day, so that we can both admire the sunset and watch the sunrise. The sun began to gradually fade, the weak rays of the morning sun of a winter day shine on the water, the glittering dewdrops remained on the blades of grass. The water on the river is calm, reflecting the shadow of the high mountain like a big mirror. The picture of the countryside appeared right in front of our eyes with open space, fresh air, and incredible peace. We took advantage of this fresh air to breathe, before returning to the bustling city.
We began to clean up everything, returning the land here to the inherent peace and cleanliness as when we had not come. At the end of the camping trip, we headed back to the city. Farewell, we returned to our daily lives and prepared for the first working day of the coming week. Say goodbye to a hard year that has passed, welcome a new year full of energy, and hope for good things to come to everyone.
