Don't skip this song because of its title. Downright one of my favourites, undoubtedly. I just love the way this song bursts in on your ears. The drums and bass will knead your eardrums so good you’ll be nodding to this song right from the start. It's the first single off the band's sixth studio album "Attention Attention". 3.Rats – Ghost
The filthy rodents are still coming for your souls

This is the first song off the Swedish Metal band's new album "Prequelle" which was released early this month. I didn't think a song about rodents would be good but this one is. The awesome guitar and drum instrumentals bring out the unique metal sound that GHOST is known for. Listen to it here ->
4.Zombie - Bad Wolves

The cover of The Cranberries's iconic 1992 song "Zombie" done by new heavy metal group Bad Wolves. It's the third single off their debut album released in May 2018. Listen to it here ->
5.Shadow Of Your Love - Guns N' Roses
And I'm not standing, never standing
In the shadow of your love
It'd been a while since I listened to a Guns N' Roses song before this one. “Shadow Of Your Love”, a single off the album "Appetite For Destruction" was recorded in 1986 and released in 2018. Agile hard rock instrumentals and Axl Rose's high pitched vocals are some things to look up to as you listen to this one. Listen to it here ->
6.What It Is - Jonathan Davis
A solo project by the Korn lead vocalist and frontman since 2012. It's off his 2018 album "Black Labyrinth" The vocals only came out well on the hook and chorus. Listen to it here ->
7.Crazy - From Ashes To New
Am I going crazy?
Yeah I think you make me
‘Cause I hate the way that you make me feel
If you’re a Linkin Park fan you’ll definitely love this one because the sound is just similar. Rap metal/Rap rock. Lead vocalist Matt Brandyberry shouts like Chester (R.I.P) on the chorus and there are some rap verses. A great song off the American band's second album "The Future". Listen to it here ->
8.The Line - Foo Fighters
The tears in your eyes

This time
The Foo Fighters didn't disappoint on this one. Written by Foo Fighters' veteran front-man Dave Grohl, The Line is a great follow up to "The Sky Is A Neighbourhood" and "Run". This is the third single off the American band's ninth studio album "Concrete and Gold". Listen to it here ->

10.Sham Pain - Five Finger Death Punch

It's FFDP hard as ever and this time telling the haters to be silent after a chaotic 2017 for the band. "Sham Pain" is from their seventh studio album "And Justice For None" Listen to it here ->

This song has a way of being hard and slightly soft simultaneously. The instrumental is quite strong with good drums. The soft siren at the start and chorusing backup "Ooooohhhhh!!!!" make this utterly beautiful. Released in February 2018, it is the second single off English rock band Muse's eighth studio album. 13.The Mountain - Three Days Grace

TDG used to be my favourite. Though that was many years ago, I still think they can deliver and they did on this one. A single off their 2018 sixth studio album "Outsider", The Mountain is worth a listen. Listen to it here ->
14.Uncomfortable – Halestorm
I did it all to shake every single one of your emotions
And just to make you uncomfortable
I love to make you uncomfortable
An all-round very agile song. Lead singer Lzzy Hale spit the vocals like a rap verse. Fast and hard instrumentals will have you nodding to this one. "Mayhem" was a great song and so is this one. The song is part of the Pennsylvania rockers fourth album "Vicious" set to be released in late July. Listen to it here ->
15.Flawless - DOROTHY
Oohh
Slipping into some kinda feeling
Got me believing

Coming out of all of the darkness
Now that I'm flawless
This one will move you emotionally because it's personal for Dorothy and that's the beauty of it. It's off Dorothy's 2018 album "28 Days in the Valley". Dorothy Martin's vocals are beautiful on this one and she says it's a song about an ex. A gem. Listen to it here ->
