they have traumas that only they can overcome.
I agree. I have a newer perspective and think it is possible (not probable but possible) for me and them to have reasonable dialogue about the following:
- Where would they like to see Blurt in 10 years?
- Where would they like to see HIVE in 10 years?
- If downvoting never goes away on HIVE (which is what I believe is most likely unless someone on Blurt powers up more HP than everyone on HIVE combined), can Blurt coexist with HIVE?
- What steps are people at Blurt taking to make sure people on HIVE have a positive view of Blurt so people on HIVE are even willing to consider Blurt is a good place?
I am not convinced it is in our best interest to cut off Blurt. We are connected through HE.
But I also think people from Blurt are creating a situation that is unreasonable. Hive Engine does not HAVE to have Blurt bridge but they do have one. Are Blurt people making it easier or harder for Hive Engine? I would argue harder. Does Blurt have enough volume to justify what we put up with here? Probably not. I think if you just do simple math based on Blurt volume on Hive Engine, I do not believe it is worth Hive Engine's time and they are just being good partners. Blurt should be good partners and be appreciative of that bridge through HE in my opinion.
I would like you to transmute this time of yours to create another one of your very unique posts.
I try to limit myself to one post a day and will have another unique post soon but it will be geared towards my TradFi community.
Although my arrival here is relatively recent.
That is awesome! If you need anything (non financial) questions or whatever please let me know.
realize that comments like mine can be misunderstood and misinterpreted
They can but what we say here is very important. It is in theory perpetual. So we need to be careful but also we need to be willing to say we are sorry sometimes.
I will not waste more time on this than I want to.
Thank you for the kind words and please enjoy HIVE and don't let people change you here.
Cheers!
