I spent some time this morning reading about anarcho-communism and it’s pretty interesting. It’s kind of strange to even having the word “communism” in the word because it’s very different.

I’ll probably always be a “capitalist” in the sense that I think there should be profit motives. Should “good” business operate without influence from their local community? Probably not.

I think most political theories need some balance. I think following capitalism to the extreme is a mistake.

I’m also not even sure we live in a capitalist society in the west. Most big business has to jump through state controlled legislation. A lot of that legislation makes it hard for anyone else who is not rich compete. Feels a lot more like chrony capitalism in the west now which really isn’t capitalism.

My biggest issue with communism is it requires very homogeneous communities that care about their neighbors. The bigger communities get the harder that is to come by.

One big issue with politics today is the politicians have no idea what it’s like to be a normal person.
